Aimee Petkus Jewelry

Aimee Petkus started out as an environmental consultant after getting a bachelor's degree in geology from Colorado State University. After several years in that world, she changed paths and earned a bachelor's degree is in metals and jewelry from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Aimee Petkus uses stones, rocks, and minerals that as the fulcrum for her designs. Many of the stones she uses have been dug out of the ground, cut, shaped, and polished by her own skilled hands. The freeform nature of her process bestows a one-of-a-kind aspect to each piece she creates.
