Mokume-gane is a metalsmithing technique from Japan that is creating by fusing layers of metal and then manipulating those layers (filing, hammering, twisting, stamping, etc.) to create an organic pattern. Mokume-gane translates closely to "wood grain metal" or "wood eye metal" in Japanese and describes the way metal takes on the appearance of natural wood grain.
This ring is crafted with Palladium 500 and sterling silver in a Maple pattern with a slightly rounded profile and comfort fit interior.
