When Sage Churchill-Foster was finishing her degree in Metal/Jewelry, she interviewd at a local scientific glass blowing shop for screenprinting calibrations on cylinders and other laboratory glass. Upon arriving for the interview she was informed they had already filled the position, but asked if she was interested in learning to blow glass. That was over 20 years ago.
Since then Sage has worked full time as a scientific glassblower and part-time as a glass artist. She has show in galleries nationally, and resides in Walworth, NY with her family.
