How did you and your significant other meet?

In college at UCLA - got engaged about 8 years into dating :) in hawaii!

As a couple, what are your interests/hobbies?

Rock climbing, mountain biking, traveling!

When did you know your partner was “the one” and you wanted to get married?

Traveling to South Africa together for 2 months, climbing and exploring new cities - traveling was easy, fun, and spontaneous.

What is one of your favorite things about your partner?

Honesty, loyalty, and humor :)

What was your proposal like (was the ring a surprise or was it collaborative)?

Half way through a 40 mile bike ride around Mauna Kea volcano on the big island of Hawaii, he popped the question! I designed the ring beforehand but hadn't seen it in person yet :)

July 2, 2022 - in the Bay Area, CA - close family and friends :)

What advice would you give to other couples shopping for wedding or engagement rings?

Keep changing your vision until it feels right! don't say yes just because it's easy. you deserve to get what you want to wear forever!
